About the Project
Mountain View Manor, a 47-unit apartment building located in Courtenay, BC, stands as our primary renovation focus for this year. All the apartment buildings donated to HyLand are between 50 to 60 years old and suffer from significant deferred maintenance. As an integral part of our strategy, we're committed to implementing a renovation program aimed at enhancing the financial sustainability of these assets while ensuring our tenants have access to safe, clean, and affordable housing.
The scope of work encompasses the entire building envelope, including windows and patio doors, along with renovations to the common areas and all bathrooms.
Aligned with our MCC values, we consistently strive to minimize or eliminate any tenant displacement throughout the renovation process. For this project, we anticipate no tenant displacement as suites will undergo renovation upon turnover.
